Dr. Hamp Kennemore

Dr. Hamp Kennemore was born and raised in Greenwood, SC. He completed his undergraduate studies at Wofford and Newberry College with a BS in biology in 2000. He also ran track and cross country in college. Dr. Kennemore earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC, in 2005. He is a member of the SC Dental Association, American Dental Association and Spartanburg Dental Society. He practices at two office locations on the eastside and westside of Spartanburg, SC, and has undergone extensive training in cosmetic and implant dentistry throughout the country. In his spare time, Dr. Kennemore enjoys cycling, running and playing golf.

Dr. Thomas Player

Dr. Thomas Player is originally from Sumter, South Carolina. His interest in dentistry took root after shadowing his family dentist, and after entering college with a general focus on healthcare, he knew dentistry was the right fit.

He earned his undergraduate degree from Wofford College before going on to graduate from the MUSC College of Dental Medicine. During dental school, he developed a particular interest in crown and bridge work, especially the digital scanning and CAD/CAM technology that was just emerging at the time. Dr. Player joined our practice in the summer of 2014, right after graduation, and has been part of the team ever since.

What he enjoys most about dentistry is the people — building lasting relationships with patients and helping them along the way. With a calm, easygoing demeanor, he works to make every visit feel comfortable and low-stress.

Outside the office, Dr. Player enjoys game nights with friends, spending time with family, and hanging out with his dog, Toast.

Dr. Jim Nasim

Dr. Jim Nasim is a general dentist with more than 30 years of experience caring for patients in the Spartanburg community. A graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), Dr. Nasim opened his first dental practice in 1988 and has spent his career helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through compassionate, personalized care.

After several years away from the practice, we are thrilled to welcome Dr. Nasim back! His experience, familiar face, and dedication to his patients make his return especially exciting for both our team and the community.

Outside of the office, Dr. Nasim is an avid outdoorsman and traveler who loves spending time with his family. He and his wife have three daughters and two grandchildren—and while he loves them all dearly, there may be a little competition for the title of his favorite from his beloved dog, Nellie!

Dr. Nasim is excited to be back doing what he loves, and we couldn’t be happier to have him back with the practice.
